Hi, I’m Jess, and I have had Endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) for over 20 years. 2019 I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis after having my period for 7 months, yes 7 months, so I had a hysterectomy. Unfortunately, my endo returned, just as it had after the previous surgeries. My journey has not been easy, I have had many pregnancy losses, found it hard to do daily normal things, and had to fight to be heard and taken seriously.
People hear about Endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome and think ‘it’s just a bad period what’s the big deal’ well I tell you what, having your period is hard enough but add in horrendous pain that stops you from getting out of bed to the point even showering takes up all your energy, more blood loss, clots and periods that last months, and then the cost, period items, doctors’ appointments, time off work, sometimes I would go through a box of super tampons.
I don’t get a period anymore but I still ovulate and get “period” pain, my ovulation pain is horrible, so I used tried abeeco Supabee for Women supplements for about 2 months, at first I was a bit unsure as I have tried many supplements over the 20 years of having endo and PCOS, and the thing with these illnesses is what works for one might not work for another, so I did not hold high hopes. However, I noticed some great improvement in my daily life with this one.
I had more energy, I noticed I have been able to get through more in a day than I used to, doing more walking, working longer days, cooking more at home and it’s helping my Libido 😉 and my moods have improved, this probably has to do with the hormone aspect of the supplements, and I don’t feel as anxious as I was a month ago, and although it does not help with the all the pain, I did notice a change in my ovulation pain and pain management. So I put that down to having more energy and my hormones not being as crazy.
I did stop taking them when I ran out, and everything went backward, my pain got worse, I was more tired and my hormones had me all over the place with my moods.
Overall I think it’s a great supplement, I’m back on them and feel that if I keep on them for longer that after 3 months I will see more improvement. Overall I give them a 10/10 so far.
I am a big advocate for endometritis and PCOS and even started a non for profit to help people, I would not put my name to just anything.
