    Among their findings were:

    • Royal Jelly may help promote healing & collagen production: It is often used to treat skin conditions such as lichen, ulcers, burns, bed sores, shingles, and acne, essentially in all cases where the regeneration of skin layers is expected, for wound healing, nutritional effect, and antimicrobial activity. Active factors in Royal Jelly may stimulate production of collagen by acting on skin growth factor.
    • Safety: The review identified no safety concerns for the use of Royal Jelly in skincare.
