While our Skin Care Repair cream has many well researched ingredients, its star is Royal Jelly. A 2020 PubMed review "Bee Products in Dermatology and Skin Care" takes a looks at the many potential applications for Bee products, including honey and royal jelly in relation to skincare.

Among their findings were:

Royal Jelly May Promote Wound Healing and Collagen Production: It is often used to treat skin conditions such as lichen, ulcers, burns, bed sores, shingles, and acne, essentially in all cases where the regeneration of skin layers is expected, for wound healing, nutritional effect, and antimicrobial activity. Active factors in Royal Jelly may stimulate production of collagen by acting on skin growth factor.
Safety: The review identified no safety concerns for the use of Royal Jelly in skincare.
