The collagen used in this formula (clinically proven Fortigel® Collagen) is high quality, hydrolysed bovine collagen and has been scientifically proven to stimulate cartilage growth, therefore capable of alleviating and preventing joint discomfort by reducing inflammation. This type of collagen induces the increased synthesis of aggrecan (an important component in cartilage) and Type ll collagen (which plays a key role in cartilage elasticity). Collagen also gives support to organs such as the liver and kidneys. 

Glucosamine is a naturally occurring chemical found in the body. It is in the fluid around the joints. Glucosamine helps maintain joint health and mobility.

Chondroitin is a naturally occurring molecule in the body and a major component of cartilage. Chondroitin helps keep cartilage healthy by absorbing fluid into the connective tissue. It is known to also block enzymes that break down cartilage and may provide the building blocks for the body to produce new cartilage.

Hyaluronic acid is present in every tissue of the body. It is most concentrated in the synovial fluid which bathes the joints, in the vitreous in the eye, and in the skin. Retention of water is one of the most important biological functions of Hyaluronic Acid, second only to providing nutrients and removing wastes from cells that do not have direct blood supply, such as cartilage cells. Hyaluronic Acid helps to improve joint health, especially cushioning the joints and improving the quality of the synovial fluid.

Boswellia is a herbal ingredient that supports joint health and mobility. It may improve blood circulation to inflamed joints, reducing joint inflammation and discomfort.

The recommended daily dose of 12g is for those that want to get serious about their joint health or suffering from joint pain.  If you're on the younger side, or take any other supplements containing Glucosamine, Chondroitin or MSM we suggest dropping the dose to 6g (half a scoop.)  

Once a day, mix 6g -12g  (one scoop is approx 12g) of powder into water, juice or other cold liquid. Shake well.  Alternatively add into a shaker or drink bottle.  You may like to add Joint Food Powder to your morning smoothie or cereal. 

For best results we recommend to take daily.

Store in a cool, dry place. We recommend using within 3 months of opening to maintain product integrity.
