    Kawakawa Repair Balm is a nourishing, restoring balm perfect for regular use. Trusted for centuries, the New Zealand native Kawakawa plant is one of the hidden treasures of the herbal apothecary that is indigenous to the gentle, yet powerfully effective NZ native flora. It offers remarkable healing benefits, and when blended with Beeswax and Manuka Honey it is often used in skin preparations, and it is especially ideal for sensitive or irritated skin.

    The anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and antiseptic properties of Kawakawa, combined with the healing abilities of Manuka Honey make this balm ideal for use on skin prone to eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. It is also excellent for supporting the treatment burns, rashes, scrapes, dry skin, and can be used as a nappy balm, tattoo moisturiser or even a lip balm.

    How To Apply

    Clean the Affected Area: Before applying the balm, clean the area of skin where you intend to use it.

    Apply Gently: Rub the balm between your fingers to soften it slightly, then gently massage it onto the affected area. Use circular motions to help the balm penetrate the skin.

    Cover if Necessary: For wounds or irritated skin, you can cover the area with a clean bandage after applying the balm to protect it and enhance absorption.

    Reapply as Needed: Depending on the severity of the condition, you can reapply the kawakawa balm several times a day.

    • Reduces Bacterial Overgrowth and Infection The antimicrobial properties are from Manuka honey's ability to inhibit bacterial growth, which have been demonstrated using many microorganisms, including S. aureus & E.coli.
    • Supports Skin and Wound Healing: Evidence from clinical trials, shows that Manuka honey may be useful for the treatment of damage to skin layers due to burns and, aids in tissue and wound healing through its antimicrobial and antibacterial activity.
