At abeeco, caring for the planet has always been part of who we are. As a company rooted in natural health and skincare, environmental responsibility has long guided our choices — and now, we are strengthening that commitment even further.
We are proud to introduce Julia Clavel, our Environmental Impact Advisor.
Julia is a Geography graduate with a passion for protecting and enhancing the natural environment. Originally from Germany, but having made New Zealand her home 20 years ago, she currently works with Restore Hibiscus & Bays as a Restoration Advisor (Schools and Community Training), helping connect schools, community groups, and local organisations to environmental restoration projects.
Her work focuses on strengthening ecosystems, improving water quality, eradicating pests, and restoring native habitats — practical, community-led environmental action that creates lasting impact.
Julia brings that same grounded, future-focused approach to Abeeco.
As our Environmental Impact Advisor, Julia is guiding us in:
This is about building on what we already believe in — and doing it better, smarter, and with greater accountability.
As a mother of two young daughters, Julia’s motivation is deeply personal.
Outside of work, Julia enjoys hiking, yoga, international cuisine, travelling, conservation events, beach clean-ups, and tree planting. Her love for nature is not just professional — it is part of who she is.
At abeeco, sustainability is not a trend. It is a responsibility.
Julia’s appointment marks an important step in formalising and advancing our environmental efforts — ensuring we continue to care for both people and planet for generations to come.
